Zogam.com Photo Contest 2016 is now available for public vote.

To encourage and promote talents in photography, Zogam.com in association with the Eimi Photographers Club and Hornbill Cable Network had opened contest to all photo enthusiasts on 19 March 2016 and the submission of entries were closed yesterday, 4th April 2016.

There were 13 entries in total and they will be judged on their originality, technical excellence, composition and the caption relevancy by two great photographers - Robert Malsawm Tunglut, New Delhi and Yehoshua Menaseh, Israel.

The People's Choice Award will be judged based on the highest LIKEs from our facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153648232498915.1073741836.156582853914&type=3. So go ahead and click LIKE to your favourite photo.

The People's Choice Award will be open till 9th April, 12 midnight. The final result of the contest will be announced on 11th April 2016.

1st Prize: Rs 1000 and Citation
2nd Prize: Rs 500 and citation
People Choice Award: Rs 500 and citation. (Highest number of likes in our FB page)

Some observation from the Zogam.com Photo Contest 2016

# 61.54% of the participants are from Manipur.
# 61.54% chose the theme Nature over People.
# 61.54% of the participants use Canon cameras. 30.7% use Nikon and 7.69% use others.
# The number of participants are slightly less compared to the number of photo enthusiasts. This could be due to fear of rejection or lack of preparation or confidence.
# The viewed versus liked ratio of the People's Choice Award Facebook like is not balance. People are still reluctant to hit the like button despite taking time to view the photos.
# Overall the Photo Contest received a positive response.
